Olivia Boudwin has been part of the Camp Twitch and Shout (CTAS) community since 2017, serving in roles ranging from Counselor and Cabin Leader to Unit Leader, and now Camp Director. She first discovered camp while attending Appalachian State University, thanks to former Camp Director Megan Kasper. At the time, Olivia knew very little about Tourette Syndrome but took a leap of faith and applied during her first year of college. That decision turned into a life-changing experience. She immediately fell in love with the community, the mission, and the sense of belonging CTAS fosters. Her experience at camp was so transformative that she went on to spend two full summers working with Camp Twin Lakes.
Today, Olivia brings that same passion and sense of purpose to her role as Camp Director. She is committed to creating inclusive, empowering, and joy-filled experiences for campers and their families, and she finds deep meaning in giving back to the community that shaped her.
Olivia holds a degree in Child Development: Birth–Kindergarten Education from Appalachian State University. She worked in Boone, North Carolina, as a lead teacher in Bethel Elementary’s NC Pre-K and Developmental Day Classroom for four years. Her classroom work focused on early intervention, inclusion, and trauma-informed education—values that align closely with her work at camp.
Olivia is now a masters student at UNC Chapel Hill. She is pursuing a dual degree in Public Administration and Social Work.
Outside of her professional roles, Olivia enjoys reading, soaking up sunshine, and spending quiet evenings at home with her husband, Ben, and their two beloved cats.
Kelsey Hollis has been working with Camp Twitch and Shout since 2014 and has volunteered as a counselor, cabin liaison, color captain, and now assistant director throughout that time. Her favorite camp activities are boating and horseback riding (because secretly she’s a horse girl and always has been). Camp is one of the most important parts of her life, and has had a huge impact on Kelsey’s life: she decided to pursue a career in education because of camp, and the CTAS community is one of the main reasons she is comfortable advocating for herself and others with Tourette Syndrome outside of the camp world.
Kelsey has a B.A. in Secondary Education and English Literature from Berry College, as well as an M.Ed in Literacy from Clemson University. She enjoys being an advocate for her students, especially those with learning differences or difficulties, and making English class as fun as it can be for her students.
Outside of camp, Kelsey lives in Nashville, TN, and is a high school English teacher and lover of books, getting her nails done, and her dog Teddy and cat Bonney.
Seanna has been volunteering with CTAS since 2018, serving in the counselor and color captain roles prior to this year. Becoming a part of the camp community has been life changing and renewing for Seanna because of the incredible people she has met. Her favorite part of camp is seeing the kids grow and make new friends. She continues to always come back because Camp Twitch and Shout feels like coming home.
Seanna has a degree in Biochemistry with minors in Spanish and Psychology. She is currently working at The Ohio State University as a Clinical Research Coordinator in Cognitive Neurology where she works on dementia clinical trials.
For fun, Seanna is a yoga instructor and loves to be outside. She enjoys fun with her cat, Goza, hedgehog, Miss Violet, and her partner, Brandon.
Hannah is a former camper turned counselor and is excited for their second year as a color Captain! Mario has been a proud member of the Camp Twitch and Shout community since 2011, starting out as a camper and growing into a leader over the years. In 2018, he stepped into the role of counselor and cabin leader, bringing his energy, empathy, and experience to help guide younger campers. His long-standing commitment to the camp has made him a familiar and trusted face in a place that feels like a second home. Over the years, Mario has mentored dozens of campers, helping them find confidence, community, and joy—often through the same encouragement and guidance he once received himself.
Outside of camp, Mario works in public safety, with a special focus on mental health crisis response. He’s passionate about creating safe, supportive spaces for people during some of their most vulnerable moments. His work is grounded in compassion, patience, and a deep belief in the power of listening. This dedication also shows in his academic path—he has a associates degree in social work from Georgia state university and he’s currently pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice at Kennesaw State University, aiming to combine his field experience with a strong educational foundation to drive positive change in the justice and mental health systems.
Mario is particularly interested in improving how first responders engage with individuals facing mental health challenges, and he hopes to one day play a role in shaping policy or training programs that promote empathy-based crisis intervention.
When he’s not working or studying, Mario enjoys the simple things in life—especially spending time with his two mini wiener dogs, Tater Tot and Tati. Whether they’re out for a walk or just lounging around the house, they’re always by his side. He also loves exploring local food spots, cheering on his favorite sports teams especially the Detroit lions and connecting with friends who feel more like family.
Whether he’s at camp, on the job, or just hanging out at home, Mario brings heart, humor, and a deep sense of care to everything he does. His journey so far is marked by service, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to making life a little better for the people around him.
